Operating in LX

Two DMR networks exist in LX: The LARU BM DMR Network (DMR only repeaters connected via BrandMeister, with full BrandMeister functionality, supporting voice, all TG's, GPS, roaming) and the ADRAD/RL/LX9DX repeaters (FM/C4FM/DMR/DSTAR, mixed-mode and multi-mode repeaters connected either to BrandMeister or via XLX Interlinks)

Talk Groups (TG's)

Available TG's

The following national TG's exist:

TG Name Notice
270 Luxembourg National TG for LX. Should be made static on timeslot 1 of all DMR repeaters in LX. Static on LARU repeaters.
2701 XLX270 A (Interlink) static on timeslot 1 of the ADRAD repeaters LX0RU and LX0DRR - bridged to XLX270 Modul A * National TG for LX
270100 LX ADRAD (LX0RU) static on timeslot 2 of the ADRAD repeater LX0RU and Openspot LX0PRR
2705 LX ADRAD Association des Radioamateurs du Kayldall ADRAD
27051 LX ADRAD Test
27058 LX ADRAD Interlink Interlink LX0DRR, LX0RU static on timeslot 2 * - LX South
2706 LX RL Radioamateurs du Luxembourg (R L) Luxembourg Amateur Radio Society * Interlink to XLX270 R

2707 LX LARU interconnecting the DMR repeaters of the Luxembourg Amateur Radio Union (LARU), static on timeslot 1 (supporting roaming)
27070 LX LARU On Demand can be activated dynamically on demand
27071 LX LARU North static on timeslot 1 of the LARU repeaters LX0BER and LX0NSR (LX North)
27072 LX LARU Center static on timeslot 1 of the LARU repeaters LX0DMR, LX0FSK and LX0LARO (LX Center)
27073 LX LARU South static on timeslot 1 of the LARU repeater LX0DMX (LX South)
27079 LX LARU EMCOMM for emergency communications within the LARU BM DMR Network
2709112 LX EMCOMM (Interlink) only for emergency traffic * Interlink to XLX270 E

LARU BM DMR Network

The LARU BM DMR Network supports full functionality as defined within the BrandMeister network.

Local TG's

Use TG 9 for local calls on a certain repeater.

Static TG's

National and regional TG's are static on timeslot 1 (e.g. TG 270, TG 2707x).

Dynamic TG's

Dynamic TG's should be activated on timeslot 2 (e.g. TG 2061). Dynamic TG's can be activated on both timeslots in the BrandMeister network, but timeslot 2 should be preferred. Please don't link talkgroups randomly on timeslot 1 (TS1) of the repeater. Activated talkgroups will be automatically unlinked after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Timeslots

In the LARU BM DMR Network talkgroups are linked as follows:

Timeslot TG type TG's Notice
1 static, national TG 270, TG 2707x, TG 9
2 dynamic, international any TG, TG 9 reflectors

Don't activate a dynamic talkgroup on slot 2 if that same talkgroup is already static on slot 1!

Roaming

As roaming is provided by Brandmeister, our repeaters are fully able to make your device roaming to the strongest repeater. Therefore, our repeaters are configured identically, according to our talkgroup scheme (see section "Timeslots"). Roaming makes sense on TS1 with the talkgroups 270 or 2707 which are available on every single repeater of the LARU BM DMR Network. Feel free to use any dynamic talkgroup on timeslot 2.
