A collection of diverse radio enthusiasts periodically meet at Defcon, the world's largest hacker convention. Each year up to thirty thousand travel to meet in Las Vegas where radios go wild and amateur operators go to work having fun while hacking the world of radio. Discussions are open, and planning takes on a life of its own in the months preceding each meeting. There are no restrictions relating to who can participate in the talkgroup, and questions relating to Defcon or any other topic are welcome and answered.
